The IBS Industries, Inc. mission is to provide integrated employment oriented services for persons with disabilities.

IBS is a non-profit corporation which exists solely for the benefit of our employees.

Our emphasis at IBS is on assisting our employees to reach their vocational potential at the workshops or in our Community Employment program.

IBS provides a controlled working environment designed to enable each employee to progress towards a more independent lifestyle by working to fully develop his or her capabilities.

How To Join the IBS Team

The following are the steps to be considered for employment at any IBS location.

Contact VP of Human Resources, Employee Services Director or Employee Services Coordinator to set up a tour of the facility in which you are interested in working.

A referral packet is required that must include the following information:

  • Documentation of disability
  • Testing scores
  • IQ scores
  • Psychological evaluation
  • Other past employment information
  • Current evaluations (KCRC, VR)
  • Social Security Card and Picture ID (copy)

An entry evaluation will be conducted.

A decision will be made determining the applicant´s status.

IBS employees have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks that not only provide them with a paycheck, but also challenge them to develop a multitude of work skills.
