IBS has built a reputation around their expertise and in the quality of work produced at each of their facilities. As experts in assembly, packaging and other subcontract production services, we give our customers opportunities to save money and meet deadlines without compromising quality or overworking their employees.

IBS Industries has two sheltered workshop locations in the greater Kansas City area with a total of 43,000 square feet. Our main facility is in Independence, the other is in Blue Springs. Both are modern, state-of-the-art operations that have been significantly expanded in recent years to keep up with the increased demand for services such as:

  • Product and Kit Assembly
  • Custom Packaging
  • Shrink-wrapping
  • Labeling
  • Mail Services
  • Finishing Operations
  • Inspection and Rework

As experts in assembly, packaging and other subcontract production services, we give our customers opportunities to save money and meet deadlines without compromising quality or overworking their employees.

By decreasing or eliminating overtime, second shifts and excess work demands, customers free up their staff to do other jobs.

There´s no need for our customers to invest in costly machinery because IBS Industries is up-to-date on the latest in efficient packaging and assembly devices.

We adhere to strict standards for our many customers. We are experts in medical test packaging and must produce work under strict FDA guidelines.

Time Study Time Study

IBS conducts very rigorous time studies in order to calculate true piece rate costs. Time Studies are a very structured process of direct analysis, observing procedures and measuring human work in order to establish the time required for completion of the work by a qualified worker when working at a defined level of performance.

Cost Analysis Cost Analysis

IBS production staff will work with companies to collect the right kind of information based on the piece rate work requested and help to define a unit cost or cost per unit of service. This information can provide an economy of scale cost analysis for companies that must maintain a strict budget.

Fulfillment Fulfillment

IBS specializes in the operation of multiple fulfillment house locations. IBS staff are trained in the entire process of assembly from receiving bulk goods, assembling individual items into a final package, repacking and prepping the final product for shipping. All final repacked bulk shipments sent to a company and contain a detailed packaging slip.

Final Product Final Product

The final product is our customer's greatest satisfaction. IBS strives to provide specialized services that in turn deliver a professional final product.

We take great pride in our capabilities and will take great pride in doing work for your organization. We prefer to keep close contact with our customers to ensure that we are and will continue to meet their standards.
