Eco Care´s hours of operation are:
Monday (closed)
Tuesday - Friday (8 am - 6 pm)
Saturday (9 am - 1 pm)
Sunday (closed)

 

Eco Care will promote a greener eastern Jackson County by providing local citizens the means to recycle their used computers and recycled goods in the same location. The drop off center makes recycling more convenient with its extended hours of operation and our helpful employees and staff to assist you with your drop off items.

Acceptable Materials

Acceptable materials for drop off at Eco Care free of charge are as follows:

General Recyclables
• Plastics 1, 2 & 3 (Please rinse and remove caps)
• Aluminum and Tin Cans (Please remove outer labels and rinse)
• All office paper (white and color), chipboard and cardboard -should not been in contact with food

E-Waste Materials
• Computer towers/workstations
• Keyboards, Mice and power cords
• Cell phones, PDA�s and laptop computers (donor will be asked to remove batteries for inspection before accepting item to ensure battery is not damaged)

• Computer Monitors - $15
• Printers - $5

 

Eco Care will NOT accept any
of the following items at this time.

Refrigerators, freezers, TV´s "Television Sets", stereos/radios, microwaves, toasters, household furniture, alarm clocks, tires, glass, car batteries, hazardous waste, household chemicals, construction waste, yard waste, paper or cardboard contaminated with food waste, lawn mowers, bicycles, automobiles, washers/dryers, stoves, carpet, corded telephones, oil, or light bulbs of any kind.
